Shah Rukh Khan reveals his grandmother named him Abdur Rehman in his childhood

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan revealed on ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ recently that his grandmother had named him Abdur Rehman. But the name was not registered anywhere.

With a conversation with Anupam Kher, Shah Rukh Khan said that his maternal grandmother had named him Abdur Rehman in his childhood.

He further said that the name wasn’t registered anywhere.

“My grandmother wanted me to accept the name,” the King Khan said.

The superstar added that his father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan named him Shah Rukh Khan while his sister as Lala Rukh.

“Shah Rukh means prince-like face,” he said whiule describing the meaning of his name.

Recently Shah Rukh Khan promised he would gift lot of movies to his fans while he got engaged in a fun Twitter conversation.

"Movie release might not be a good option right now, how about a Dance Number which might hold us for some time???" asked a fan.

Shah Rukh replied: "Nahi yaar ab toh bahut saari movies hi aayengi. (No my friend, a lot of movies are in the pipeline)."
