Michael B Jordan and Lori Harvey have appeared to confirm their relationship with a series of Instagram posts after rumours of their romance emerged.

Over the weekend, the Black Panther star, 33, shared two portraits of himself and Harvey, 24, to his Instagram, which see the pair staring into each other’s eyes.

While he did not include a caption, the post prompted numerous congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities.

“Faves!” Gabrielle Union commented, while Sophia Bush wrote: “Some JOY! 💖💖💖!” along with heart emojis.

Harvey, the daughter of TV personality Steve Harvey, also shared photos of herself and Jordan to her own Instagram.

In the post, she included shots of two polaroid photos, which show her and Jordan posing near a Christmas tree, as well as one of the actor leaning in to kiss her.

The couple reportedly began dating in November, with paparazzi photos taken at the time showing them travelling together ahead of Thanksgiving. Most recently, they have been photographed travelling to Salt Lake City, Utah.

While neither has spoken publicly about the relationship, the Just Mercy star, who People previously named the Sexiest Man Alive, told the outlet in November that he has a long list of qualities he is looking for in a partner.

“A sense of humour, true understanding, because [an actor's] life is not conducive to a relationship - it’s really not," he said, adding: “Somebody that’s nurturing. I've got a list.”

On Twitter, fans have expressed both their excitement and disappointment over the new relationship, with one person tweeting: “I’m simultaneously hurt and happy for Michael B Jordan.
