Hayat Nazer is a talented artist from Lebanon, who is self taught and is an alumni of the American University of Beirut.

She is also an active social worker and is a part of an NGO that helps refugees and those stranded and are in need of help.

Hayat has been praised for her commendable work of channeling all her anger and pain into incredible pieces of artwork.

The unique style of using the remains of war and destruction to create pieces of art has made her one of the most sought after artists of recent times.

In one of her recent creations which has gained popularity is the statue of the woman, made out of broken glass, rubble and a damaged clock marking the time (6:08 PM) of the mega explosion at the port of Beirut.

The sculpture that has been named 'The Lady of the world' by the artist is a work done as a memorial for the next generations to always remember what Beirut and its people had gone through.

This incredible piece of art is a part of a series of revolutionary artwork done by the artist which previously included the Phoenix, Saucepans Tree, Heart of revolution, Corona project.
