World Art Dubai is bringing an extensive and impressive artwork collection of paintings, prints, sculptures, and photographs.

Staying true to its commitment of promoting art and culture and contributing to further the creative landscape in the UAE, Noon Art Gallery from SLC is returning to the signature event under Dubai Art Season umbrella for the second time, by showcasing works of talented artists from the region.

This year, World Art Dubai is bringing an extensive and impressive artwork collection of paintings, prints, sculptures, and photographs, by solo artists and international galleries under one roof.

In collaboration with Sharjah Girl Guides, SGG, Sharjah Ladies Club trained nine teenage girls over a period of seven weeks in an inspirational painting programme that was conducted by Sanaa Merchant, an artist from Pakistan who is known for creating her artworks by combining alcohol inks and resin.

World Art Dubai  will continue until 6th April.

The trainee artists have produced artworks during the course of this programme, which will be showcased at the art event. The participating artists include Marketa Halamek from Czech Republic; Duha Alhallami, Houria Al Zarooni and Alya Abdulla from the UAE; and Nevine Meguid from Australia.

Explaining the importance of SLC’s continued showcase of young and emerging female talent on this art platform, Collage Talent Centre’s Manager Shaikha Alsuwaidi noted, "It is a matter of pride for us to be bringing artistic talents in the UAE to a global platform that hosts an impressive collection of 3,000 artworks from renowned galleries and solo artists from over 30 countries."

She added that SLC’s vision is to offer every tool and avenue available, to girls and women so they can express themselves creatively, discover hidden talent, nurture their hobbies and realise their truest potential.

Selected artists possess unique artistic expertise, which they will bring in a wholesome art offering to World Art Dubai. Marketa works her magic with blend of colours, Duha explores the sky-soul relationship, and Houria and Alya weave their work around nature, capturing its rich bounty and bringing joy and happiness in their paintings. Nevine, on the other hand, uses alcohol ink to express the mystery and beauty of the disconnected letters and verses in the Quran.
