1. Being named an Official Supporter of the 2027 Ryder Cup is a major achievement. What does this milestone mean for the customers you serve?
For our customers, this milestone is about trust, reach and business connectivity. The Ryder Cup brings together global companies, investors and senior decision-makers in a setting where international relationships are built. Many Qashio customers operate across borders, so the businesses supporting them must understand that same global reality.
It also reflects the standard we want to bring to financial operations. Companies expanding across the UAE, Ireland, Europe, and the wider Gulf need clearer control over spend, faster reconciliation, and better visibility across entities, markets, and currencies. Our role is to help finance teams manage that complexity with discipline, while keeping human judgement and governance at the centre.
2. How do you see Qashio’s involvement strengthening economic and business ties between Ireland and the UAE, particularly as trade and investment between the two markets continue to grow?
Qashio’s involvement strengthens the Ireland-UAE corridor by adding a practical business layer to a relationship already shaped by trade, investment and entrepreneurship. With headquarters in Dubai and Dublin, we see both markets as connected gateways: the UAE into the Gulf and wider MENA region, and Ireland into Europe.
That matters because cross-border growth depends on confidence in financial infrastructure. As more companies operate between these markets, they need better control over payments, expenses, supplier spend and cash flow. Qashio’s Dublin expansion and planned Qashio Labs R&D hub support that direction by building capability between the two markets, not just presence.
3. Qashio participated in ATM 2026. As travel spending and corporate travel continue to evolve, what are the key areas in which you support organisations operating in this sector?
In travel, we help organisations control spend without slowing bookings. Travel companies manage high volumes of supplier payments across currencies and markets, often under margin pressure. That makes visibility, policy control, card issuance and reconciliation just as important as booking growth.
At ATM 2026, our focus was on practical financial workflows for online travel agencies, traditional agencies, destination management companies and corporate travel teams. Qashio for Travel supports temporary cards for individual bookings, bulk card issuance, lower foreign exchange costs, real-time transaction data and automated reconciliation. Qashio Corporate Travel also brings cards, bookings and expense management into one system, supporting businesses as regional travel demand grows and the MEA business travel market is expected to reach $318.7 billion by 2033.
