The Sanjeev Mansotra Foundation (the "Foundation") announced a new initiative to enhance access to quality education amongst under-privileged children in Asia. The foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MoU") with Impact SG, a Singapore-based charity dedicated to nurturing and growing a community of purposeful givers across the region. The MoU was signed at an event co-hosted by Farro Capital and Impact SG at the Temasek Shophouse in Singapore.
Partnering to create impact
This MoU marks a significant step forward for the Foundation and Impact SG, enabling them create meaningful, measurable, and sustainable impact across a range of philanthropic causes. The partnership reflects a shared commitment between the two organisations to strengthen the ecosystem of purposeful giving in Singapore and the broader region.
Through this collaboration, the Sanjeev Mansotra Foundation and Impact SG will work together to design and deliver initiatives that create measurable, sustainable outcomes for children, education, and communities in need — building on the convening power and networks that both organisations bring to the partnership.
The signing event brought together a distinguished gathering of leaders from the public, private, and philanthropic sectors. Ms Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, attended as Guest of Honour. Also present was Mr Ravi Menon, Chairman of Impact SG and former Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, alongside senior representatives from the United Nations Development Programme, Temasek Trust, the Gates Foundation, the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, and several leading families active in philanthropy across the region.
Mr. Sanjeev Mansotra, the 45 year old Founder of SM Foundation with a net worth of USD 4.2 billion said, “Delivering sustainable and meaningful impact has been a driving force behind all our initiatives and Impact SG complements this ethos of our foundation. We are excited that both organizations can leverage our shared belief of building empowered communities through quality education.”
"What we've built over the past year isn't just a set of pledges, it's a community of families choosing to give with intention, and choosing to come back and do it again. That's the real milestone today.
We appreciate and welcome the support extended by Mr. Sanjeev Mansotra, Founder - Sanjeev Mansotra Foundation and the Chairman of Planet One Group, creating impact value across the African region for implementing various projects in Education, Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Wellness.” – Ravi Menon, Co-Founder - Impact SG at the event co-hosted with Farro Capital.
