A new UAE-developed platform is set to change the way residents create and register their wills. EasyWill, which has officially launched in the country, is the first digital service in the region to allow users to draft, review, translate and register their wills entirely online while remaining fully compliant with UAE laws.
The platform uses artificial intelligence trained on UAE federal legislation and inheritance regulations to streamline a process that has traditionally required legal consultations and in-person court visits. Through a multilingual interface that meets Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) standards, users can prepare their will, receive accurate translations and complete notarisation through a secure video call with an approved notary — eliminating the need to visit a court or legal office.
The launch comes as interest for will registration continues to rise nationwide. According to the DIFC Courts’ Wills Service, registered wills increased by 14 per cent in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, driven largely by growing property ownership and asset accumulation across the UAE.
EasyWill also aims to support residents navigating inheritance rules, which may divide assets in ways that do not reflect personal wishes. By registering a will with the Abu Dhabi Civil Court, individuals can outline their intentions clearly, and the new platform seeks to make this process faster, more accessible and more secure.
“EasyWill is a milestone in digital legal innovation, designed to empower individuals to protect their assets with ease and confidence, anywhere and anytime,” said Alessandro Console, Co-founder and CEO of EasyWill. “Our mission is to make estate planning accessible, transparent and fully aligned with UAE law.”
Developed in the UAE with Italian technological expertise, the platform aligns with the nation’s digital transformation efforts. The company says it has already attracted interest from banks, developers and real estate firms looking to integrate digital will-registration services into their offerings.
By combining AI-driven accuracy with a convenient online process, EasyWill aims to redefine estate planning in the region and offer residents a modern, secure way to safeguard their assets.
