November 21st, the EXLANTIX ES GT made its global debut at the 23rd Guangzhou International Motor Show. The ES GT continues the previous aesthetics of the ES model, which has won prestigious awards such as the MUSE Gold Design Award(USA), the iF Industrial Design Award (Germany), and the A’DESIGN Award(Italy).
It has undergone a design upgrade with a more elegant and dynamic appearance, based on its Grand Tourer positioning. In terms of performance, the ES GT inherits the chassis architecture that helped the ES set a Guinness World Record and further enhances its performance. As a key model for EXLANTIX's expansion into the European Union, the ES GT is designed specifically for Europe and set to launch there in 2027
Grand Tourer Aesthetic Innovation, Meeting the Diverse Needs of the EU Market
The ES GT continues the classic proportions of the ES model, with the wheelbase, width, and height remaining unchanged, ensuring a harmonious balance between interior space and design. Its front face inherits the ES's signature full-width headlights and smooth engine hood lines, with the DRL complemented by a sporty front lip, creating an elegant and sharp visual presence.
The side of the body fully showcases the characteristics of a Grand Tourer. The wheel design has been upgraded from a forked style to a more dynamic double five-spoke configuration. The door handles have been adapted to a semi-hidden style to meet with EU safety standards. Additionally, the new door sills and a roof rack have been added, further enhancing both the car's functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Behind the B-pillar, the rear lines rise smoothly. The full-width taillight keep their original style but have a new arrangement of lights, making the visual effect more refined when lit. The ES already has an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.205, and the ES GT further improves this with a shark fin antenna and a dual-channel rear spoiler. These features enhance its sporty look and technology while maintaining its low drag advantage.
In terms of interior, the ES GT retains the panoramic sunroof of the ES model and adds an electric sunshade. For European users' operating habits, physical buttons for functions such as energy recovery and air conditioning control have been added to the center console, enhancing convenience and safety during driving.
The ambient lighting features a fully hidden design, creating a premium and soft in-car lighting effect. The seats have been optimized based on ergonomics, with longer adjustment travel to accommodate different users. The rear seats support 4/2/4 split folding, and combined with the multifunctional design of the trunk, the cargo space becomes more flexible, fulfilling the diverse travel needs of European families.
Upgraded Performance, Perfectly Adapted to European Road Conditions
Building on the solid foundation of the ES model, the ES GT features a fully upgraded powertrain, equipped with a new four-wheel-drive, three-motor architecture. The system's power exceeds 400kW, delivering performance comparable to mainstream high-performance coupes. To meet the needs of the European market, the vehicle is now equipped with an electric tow hook, enhancing its towing capacity. Whether it's towing a caravan for a road trip or carrying various outdoor gear, the ES GT handles it all with ease.
The ES GT inherits the excellent handling DNA of the ES model, featuring a full aluminum chassis with a double wishbone front suspension and a five-link rear suspension. It is equipped with CDC and an air suspension system, ensuring outstanding mechanical performance.
For the mountainous roads and highways in the European, the ES GT has strengthened the air spring stiffness and body torsional rigidity. This improves stability at high speeds and grip in corners, resulting in enhanced handling and driving confidence.
EXLANTIX is set to launch in the European Union in 2026, with plans to introduce a full range of all-electric models such as the ES and ET, to focus on the high-end automotive market. At the Guangzhou Auto Show, the ES GT made its world debut—a vehicle that integrates cutting-edge technology with high performance for global grand tourer enthusiasts.
