Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Airline & Group, on Monday said that the Dubai Airshow 2025 is now firmly established as one of the most important global platforms for the future of the aviation, space, and defence industries.
Through the X platform, Sheikh Saeed stated, "The Dubai Airshow 2025 brought together the world's elite in aviation, aerospace and defence to define the industry's next chapter. This edition demonstrated the UAE's influence in driving advancement and charting the sector's future direction."
He continued, "I extend my sincere appreciation to the Supreme Committee of the Dubai Airshow, and to all teams involved, whose dedication and unwavering commitment ensured an exceptional delivery of this edition. This solidifies the Airshow's reputation as one of the industry's most influential global forums."
In a video posted on his X account, Sheikh Saeed revealed that the event witnessed the announcement of major agreements and investments totalling $202 billion (Dhs741 billion), along with 248,788 international visitors, 1,500 exhibitors from 115 countries, and more than 450 panel discussions and conferences featuring global leaders and experts.

The event showcased advanced technologies and innovations in the fields of space and defense, and saw extensive participation from government delegations and international companies, reflecting Dubai's position as a leading global hub for the aviation industry.
