Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub launches Sky Support Complex

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has announced the launch of its new Sky Support Complex, a modern facility designed to support the increasing demand for aviation-related services in the region.

Located within the Aerospace Supply Chain Zone, the Sky Support Complex, a landside facility, spans a total area of 16,661 square metres and offers 14 premium units.

The facility provides exceptional access, flexibility, and world-class infrastructure, positioning it as an ideal choice for companies seeking to operate within a thriving aerospace and logistics environment.

Companies based at the Sky Support Complex will benefit from operating within a bonded free zone area that allows 100 per cent foreign ownership. The facility also offers superior infrastructure when compared to other free zones, with flexible warehouse, office, and commercial space options that can accommodate diverse business needs.

Additionally, the complex is adjacent to Al Maktoum International Airport, providing seamless operational connectivity and access to the broader Dubai South ecosystem.

Earlier in April Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), the aerospace platform of Dubai South dedicated to the advancement of the aviation industry, announced the completion of works at the first phase of its Aerospace Supply Chain zone which features 11 facilities and spans a total of 1,291,000 square feet.

This milestone follows great demand from aviation-related businesses seeking to establish their operations at MBRAH and benefit from its advanced infrastructure and solutions.

The completed phase within the Aerospace Supply Chain zone, a landside freezone solution, caters to engine shops, component and landing gear MROs, as well as workshop solutions.

Additionally, further expansion is underway, with 1,721,000 square feet of new facilities currently under development. This includes a new facility of the Suppliers Complex—the region’s first vertical aerospace complex—designed to attract startups and SMEs.

Scheduled for completion by Q2 2026, the complex will feature 88 leasable units across three levels dedicated to maintenance service providers, aircraft parts traders, and aerospace and drone companies.

Meanwhile the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), the aerospace platform of Dubai dedicated to the advancement of the aviation industry has officially inaugurated a new facility by Comlux, one of the leaders in business aviation, transaction and completion services.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman, Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, Richard Gaona, Chairman of Comlux and Joseph Huber, Vice Chairman of Comlux as well as other senior officials.
