WETEX 2024 set to put spotlight on latest cybersecurity technologies

Dewa is organising WETEX from October1 to 3, 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The 26th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) will see significant participation from companies specialising in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and networks and information system security. This is alongside major local and international companies specialising in energy, sustainability, water, green buildings, smart grid, electric vehicles, and more.

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organising WETEX from 1 to 3 October 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The exhibition promotes the development of ways to address cyber threats and risks facing smart cities. WETEX 2024 will feature the latest technologies, systems, and programmes related to artificial intelligence (AI) governance, cyber risk prediction, cyber breach methods and techniques, and testing information systems and networks for vulnerabilities and security gaps before they can be exploited by hackers. It will also showcase best practices for securing information and network systems, enhancing incident response capabilities around the clock, and protecting personal data by integrating security solutions into the design of smart cities.
