UAE leaders welcome guests attending the WTO meeting in Abu Dhabi

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday morning via “X” platform welcomed guests of UAE attending the World Trade Organization's 13th Ministerial Conference in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed said, “The UAE is pleased to welcome leaders, ministers and senior officials to the World Trade Organization’s 13th Ministerial Conference in Abu Dhabi.”

“Trade is a key driver of prosperity and helps promote peace and understanding between nations. We look forward to working with our international partners in supporting a global trading system that brings benefits to all,” he added.

In the same context, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also via “X” platform affirmed the UAE’s steadfast support for efforts aimed to ensure flexible and safe globe trade in favor of the whole world.

In his tweet, His Highness said, “The capital Abu Dhabi is hosting over 6,000 participants from 180 delegations worldwide for the World Trade Organisation (WTO) meetings.

“We welcome all participants and affirms the UAE's unwavering support for efforts to facilitate global trade, strengthen economic globalisation, and create new global development corridors linking countries and regions to achieve greater prosperity for people,” Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid added.
