Sharjah signs MoU with Korean province

Sharjah and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province of South Korea have recently joined forces to engage in deeper collaboration across key sectors of tourism, technology and cultural exchange.
Officiated through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed by Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Government Relations in Sharjah (DGR), and Oh Young Hun, Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, this partnership symbolises a significant new chapter in the Sharjah-South Korea relationship.
“This MoU marks a momentous step forward in enhancing understanding and cooperation between Sharjah and Jeju, aligning with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah to actively establish intercontinental ties, promoting advantageous and sustainable partnerships with our international counterparts” said Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of DGR. “By combining our strengths, we unlock immense potential for mutual benefit, and we are confident that this partnership will lead to fruitful exchanges, innovation, and sustainable development for both our regions.”
