Havells, largest Indian FMEG company launches ‘Lloyd’, its leading Consumer Durable brand in the Middle East Market


Havells India Ltd is a leading consumber durables company with a revenue of US $2.5 billion and a market cap of US $10 billion. With a strong focus on manufacturing in India, Havells produces over 90% of its products in-house across 15 manufacturing plants. Operating in more than 70 countries, Havells has a wide distribution network and strategic channel partners.

Following the acquisition of Lloyd in 2017, Havells has become one of India's fastest-growing AC brands, known for its product innovation and manufacturing capabilities. Lloyd, with manufacturing units in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh, has a large annual capacity of 2 million air conditioners in India.

In the Middle East, Lloyd offers technologically advanced and energy-efficient products including ACs, washing machines, refrigerators, and LED TVs. Lloyd has partnered with TeknoDome, a distribution conglomerate based in Dubai, to expand its presence in the Middle East. This expansion is a significant milestone for Havells, extending Lloyd's reach beyond India.

Lloyd, in collaboration with TeknoDome, has aggressive distribution plans to make their products available in Independent Retail, selective Organized Retail, and the E-commerce Channel. The brand aims to be a trusted companion for families, as reflected in their slogan - Lloyd, 'Care that makes a home, a home.' They have partnered with Bollywood stars Ms Tamannaah Bhatia and Superstar Mr Mohanlal as brand ambassadors in the UAE region. Starting December, Lloyd will launch an extensive awareness campaign targeting aspirational consumers through digital media, social media, influencer marketing, in-store visibility, and PR activities.
