SRERD celebrates 21 winners of the Real Estate Excellence Award

Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) has revealed the names of 21 companies and real estate establishments who won the “Real Estate Excellence Award” which is launched by the Department. This recognition is part of the Department’s persistent efforts to support and stimulate the real estate sector, and to enhance Sharjah’s position in the real estate market in the region, as an attractive environment for investors and capital from inside and outside the country.

Since its launch, the award has witnessed a huge demand for participation by various institutions, companies, and real estate offices operating in the emirate.

Moreover, the department is always keen to diversify the award in its four categories, which included: the category of Real Estate Offices, Best Owners Association Board of Directors, Real Estate Development Companies, and the category of Companies for Administrative Supervision Services for Owners Associations.

Moreover, the Department honored the award winners in the presence of Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director General of the Department, Counselor Hamid Al-Abbar, Advisor to the Department, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saqr Al-Qassimi, Head of the Office of Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence in the Department, in addition to a number of directors and owners of real estate development companies and real estate offices operating in the Emirate.

Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, said: “The annual award comes within the department’s strategic plan and its main programs aimed at supporting successful models of institutions, companies, and offices operating in the real estate sector in the emirate.”

“In addition, it achieves the aspirations of the department to reach a sustainable and developed real estate investment which meets the needs of the market, as part of our continuous pursuit to reach excellence, creativity, and leadership in the work and the services which we provide to our customers in the Sharjah.”

For his part, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al-Qassimi, Head of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Office at the Department, said: “The Real Estate Excellence Award focuses on distinguished companies and offices which highlight - through their performance - the great investment incentives offered by the Sharjah government to real estate investors, developers, and related companies from various fields. It also displays the significant improvements in the level of services provided to owners while building a real estate community that enjoys security, progress and prosperity”.

He added saying: “the Award follows the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and objectivity since it was launched, as arbitration is handled by a committee composed of specialists in the department, in order to ensure the integrity of the results, and to honour the deserving parties who are doing their best to develop this vital sector of the emirate’s economy”.

The “Real Estate Offices Category” award was successively won by: Al-Junaidi Real Estate, Salem Ali Al Shamsi Real Estate Company, BuzzLink Real Estate, Sama Al-Sharjah Real Estate Office, Al-Shahiq Real Estate Office, East Coast Real Estate, and Al-Soum Real Estate. For the Eastern Region, Al-Shaheq Real Estate Office and East Coast Real Estate won successively.

As for the award in the “Real Estate Development Companies Category”, it was successively won by Sharjah Sustainable City and Al-Thuriah Real Estate Company.

In the category of the “Best Owners Association Board of Directors”, the following won respectively: Al-Ghanem Business centre Sharjah Owners Association, Sahara Tower 1 Owners Association, Sahara Tower 3 Owners Association, Sahara Tower 4 Owners Association, Sahara Tower 6 Owners Association, Asas Tower Owners Association, Blue Tower Owners Association, Beach Tower 2 Owners Association, Riviera Tower Owners Association, and Al-Mohannad Tower Board of Directors.

Finally, the award for the “Companies for Administrative Supervision Services for Owners Associations Category” was won, respectively, by: Al-Mudeer Company for Administrative Supervision Services, and Pluto Company for Administrative Supervision Services.

Meanwhile the real estate sector in Sharjah has witnessed significant growth and development outside the city centre, as highlighted in the recently issued annual report by the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department. The report indicates a thriving movement in the Central and Eastern regions, with cash transactions amounting to Dhs549.4 million.

The transactions were facilitated through the department’s branches located in the Central region and the cities of Khorfakkan, Dibba Al-Hisn, and Kalba.

During the first half of 2023, the total real estate transactions recorded in the department’s branches reached 14,195, accounting for 34.8 per cent of all transactions executed within the emirate during the same period. Additionally, the total area traded in sales transactions amounted to 15.1 million square feet.
