Enriching lives with creative content, the Korea Creative Content Agency looks to shine in UAE

With the K-pop culture creating waves across the globe, the South Koreans have once again something unique to offer. And this time, the talented people will offer an array of business and creative ideas. 

The Korea Pavilion at the World Trade Centre showcased the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), a governmental agency that oversees and coordinates the promotion of the Korean content industry. KOCCA participated in the DEAL 2022 for the first time.

This year, Korean immersive content will be introduced to UAE markets. There are a variety of Korean immersive contents on DEAL 2022. There are 7 companies in the Korea Pavilion. And they have various VR/AR/XR contents such as games, education content, AR Camera, etc.

Koo, Kyoung Bon, Team Director of the immersive content promotion at the Korea Creative Content Agency, said, "I think this participation in the DEAL 2022 Korea Pavilion is a good opportunity for excellent Korean immersive content companies to build mutual partnerships with buyers in the MENA and create synergy. The immersive content market in this region has the high potential for growth, and we expect to establish a close cooperation system with local companies.”

Through this event, KOCCA expects to publicize various VR/AR/XR contents in Korea more widely and enter the UAE market and introduces major contents from 7 companies.

KOCCA was established in May 2009 by integrating five related organizations, including the Korean Broadcasting Institute, the Korea Culture & Content Agency, and the Korea Game Agency.
