The Diplomat Business Club, a unique global network of business leaders and diplomats recently organised a UAE Business Opportunities Forum in Dubai.  

The event was graced by UAE Minister for foreign trade, Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi,  Fahad Al Gergawi, Chief Executive of Dubai Investment Authority (FDI Dubai), Javed Malik, President of the Diplomat Business Club and business community members from more than 40 countries .

The inaugural session of UAE Business & Investment Opportunities Forum attended by a large number of  prominent business and corporate leaders. Also present were Ambassadors and Diplomats as well as heads of various business councils.

The Forum created a unique opportunity for the international business community to interact with the Minister of Foreign Trade as well as senior government officials with a view to further facilitating the expatriate business community in expanding and enhancing their business.

Speaking about the initiative, the President of the Diplomat Business Club, Javed Malik who has been resident in the UAE for over almost 20 years said, that  “the positive and pragmatic policies of UAE leadership has enabled the country to successfully navigate through the challenges of the global pandemic, and re-asserted UAE’s international ranking as the world’s leading business and investment hub. This has sent a very positive signal to the international business community and given a boost to investor confidence about the resilience of the plethora of opportunities that it has to offer. He particularly appreciated the UAE Golden and Green Visa scheme and said that “the new and innovative policies about long term visas has been warmly welcomed by the business and professional community and  would pave the way to attract global talent to the UAE.

Speaking about the future plans of the Diplomat Business Club, Javed Malik said that under the banner of the UAE Business Opportunities Forum, further sector specific interactive sessions would be organized at regular frequencies with a focus on the futuristic business in which the business community will have the opportunity to interact closely with the key decision makers. He said that the UAE has created a very future friendly business environment poised to fully embrace latest technologies like Blockchain, Artificial intelligence, 5G, Cloud Computing and Space exploration and the global business community can take advantage of these positive opportunities.”
