The UAE is a key investment destination and a safe haven for local and foreign investors. The country’s economic growth is on solid growth trajectory and is marching ahead bucking the global trends.

This was stated by Mohammed Akram,  Chairman, Al Musbah Group, during an exclusive interview with Gulf Today recently in Ajman.

Mohammed Akram is the first Pakistani businessman, who was recently awarded a 10-year UAE Gold Card  visa by Dubai joining the bandwagon of entrepreneurs receiving long-term residency permits in the country.  The move is in alignment with the government’s vision to further encourage business growth and direct investments into the country, while at the same time attracting and retaining the best talents in UAE.

Acknowledging the honour, Akram extends his tributes to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for their leadership decisions that have made the UAE the land of opportunities for both nationals and foreigners of more than 200 countries calling the country their second home.”

He mentioned that the UAE is close to host Expo 2020, adding that Pakistani business community should actively participate in the upcoming mega event in order to get more investment opportunities and financial benefits.

Akram noted that currently, Pakistan is a favourable and lucrative investment destination for exapts’ community due to lower exchange rates and ease of doing businesses. Akram is regarded a stalwart, who is successfully running his family business over the last three decades in the UAE.
