The UAE’s healthcare industry is marching ahead bucking the global trends and the country offers a range of new specialised services and treatments for residents.
Homeopathy is the 2nd largest system of medicine in the world according to World Health Organization. It is practiced in 86 countries and is consumed by over 200 million people globally. France is the largest contributor to the homeopathy market, followed by Germany. In the UK, the British Royal Family has been under homeopathic care since 1980. According to Global TGI Barometer, 6-9 million people in the UK prefer homeopathy.
This was stated by Dr Mukesh Batra, Founder and Chairman of Dr Batra’s Group of Companies, during an exclusive interview Gulf Today, adding that his ambitions is to spread homeopathy to every corner of the world.
Founded from a single homeopathy clinic in Mumbai, Dr. Batra’s now runs 225 clinics across India, Dubai and London. The world’s largest chain of homeopathic clinics, Dr Batra’s Homeopathy, recently announced the launch of their first clinic in Abu Dhabi on World Homeopathy Day.
“We have seen a rise in demand for homeopathy in recent years. With patients looking for holistic healthcare options, we are delighted to announce our foray into Abu Dhabi. We are currently located in 5 countries and have 10 international clinics in UK including one in Harley Street, in Dubai at the Dubai Health Care City (DHCC), in Bahrain at the KIMS Bahrain Medical Center (KBMC), in Dhaka (Bangladesh) and now Abu Dhabi.”
