Georgia sees huge potential in the UAE tourism market.  The country is making concerted efforts to attract more tourists from the Gulf region. This was stated by Gvantsa Murtskhvaladze, Deputy General Manager, Voyager, during an exclusive interview with Gulf Today at the recently concluded Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.

Gvantsa said that her country has attracted 125773 tourists for the Middle East and around 12377 from the UAE in 2018. She noted that Voyager is a General Sales Agent of  of  flydubai, Gulf air,  Salam Air, Jazeera airways and Flynas Airlines.

“Our company is a leading tour operator based in Georgia specialised in inbound and outbound travel directions,” she added. She disclosed that  Voyager was the first company,  who entered GCC countries and promoted destination- Georgia there.

“Our company is offering accommodation, transportation, excursions, dines, event management, team building activities, technical equipment, private and wedding events, corporate events, full catering, entertainment.”

“Arabian Travel Market is very important event for our company as it is leading international travel and tourism event to give participants more information about our destination and services we are providing, to do face to face business with companies from around the world.

Every year we are attending ATM as it is one of the most important exhibitions to see our existing partners & opportunity to meet potential ones. We are happy to see interest growing to Georgia from year to year from Middle East (Georgia has 7.8% growth from this region this year as well).
