The Ajman-based Intershipping Services, in collaboration with the Gabonese Government had launched the International Ship Registry of Gabon in the UAE in a bid to provide modern and secured shipping services to leading ships around the globe.

The launch ceremony was held at Saray Ajman Hotel and attended by Sheikh Dr. Majid Bin Saeed al Nuaimi, Chairman of the court of the Ruler of Ajman, Justin Ndoundangoye, Minister of Transport and Logistics for the Republic of Gabon, Hamad Bin Hamdan Hmeed Al Matroushi, founder of Intershipping Services, Hysham A. Shaikh, Managing Director of Intershipping Services, Dnyaneshwar Manohar Mulay, Member Designate of Human Rights Commission in India besides a large number of government officials, bankers, ship owners and dignitaries from the industry.

The launch of International Ship Registry of Gabon in UAE was the result after the both parties have signed the exclusive agreement of association on Sept 15, 2018.

Justin Ndoundangoye, Minister of Transport and Logistics for the Republic of Gabon while addressing the gathering said that “it is no doubt that this opportunity allows Intershipping Services to manage and perform all the functions related to its Maritime Administration on behalf of the government of Gabon. We are delighted to announce that this great occasion will provide new working conditions that are capable to increase the economic growth in terms of developing new income-generating activities, allowing the Gabonese flag in the ports and oceans of the world, contributing to the emergence of a maritime economy by participating to the effort of diversification of the national economy, and defining Gabon as a centre of maritime trade and expertise in the region,” he said.
