New Coach Jardim delighted to work with Shabab Al Ahli

Shabab Al Ahli new coach Leonard Jardim expressed his delight on joining the Dubai club. He was addressing his first press conference after taking charge at the club.
The new season of the Adnoc Pro League gets under way on Spet.2, 2022. All the teams are preparing for the new season and bolstering their squad with new signings.
“I am delighted to be a part of the team which has a long legacy. I will try my level best to make team, which can win the titles. We don’t bank on the big names but we need players who can deliver and help other players also,” said Jardim.
“I will work with the players and other staff in order to bring the best out of them when it needs the most. Football is my passion and I have always tried to give to every team wherever I have worked,” he added.
The globe-trotting coach has a very impressive CV. He has the privilege of working with European clubs in France and Portugal.
“I have a big responsibility to lead a team like Shabab Al Ahli and our goal is to win the league title. We will try to bring back the glory days. It is a tough task but we know together we can achieve that,” he added.
In the last season Shabab Al Ahli were managed by Mahdi Ali. They finished on the fifth spot with 42 points, failing to qualify for the AFC Champions League
