The Emirates Polo Federation has signed a memorandum of understanding with their counterpart the Saudi Polo Federation in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia, with the aim of strengthening the relationship and developing the sport of polo.
The MoU also aims at exchanging technical and administrative expertise between the two federations.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the Emirati side by Mohammed Khalaf Al Habtoor, President of the Emirates Polo Federation, and on the Saudi side, Amr Zidan, President of the Saudi Arabian Polo Federation, while they were at the Richard Mille Polo Cup in AlUla.
Mohammed Khalaf stressed that the signing of the memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Federation comes within the framework of keenness to expand the base of relations with the national sports federations in the Gulf Cooperation Council and Arab countries, and to exchange expertise and experiences and develop the sport of polo in addition to supporting and encouraging polo players in the region.
He pointed out that the Saudi Polo Federation is one of the federations interested in national talents, organizing competitions and media and marketing aspects.

The memorandum of understanding includes a number of items, the most important of which are the development of the training sectors, camps and national teams, quality games, public relations, media and marketing, local competitions and the organization of events.”
