Liverpool star Mohamed Salah not infected with COVID-19

Social networking sites and British media circulated the news that the star of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool club, Mohamed Salah, had contracted the coronavirus, while the club’s management published a clarification statement in this regard.
According to the British media, “The first swab that Salah conducted with his team players before facing Tottenham in the English Premier League revealed that he was infected with the virus.”
The network pointed out that the star of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool, England, "underwent a second swab, on Saturday, with the aim of making sure that he was infected with the virus or not, and in light of the result, the fate of the Liverpool-Tottenham meeting will be decided."
In response to these reports, Liverpool FC published a statement saying that "there are no indications that Mohamed Salah has contracted the coronavirus, and it is not right to speculate on matters related to health."
