Hard work needed

After losing the first Test match against England, Pakistan made a comeback and won the series. The performance of the players is laudable in the last two matches (“Pakistan thrash England to win series after Noman, Sajid heroics,” Oct.26, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, Noman and Sajid knocked over all 10 England wickets to dismiss the visitors for 112 as Pakistan raced to victory in Rawalpindi before lunch on day three of the third Test. Captain Shan Masood hammered five boundaries in six balls, launching Shoaib Bashir over the ropes to complete a resounding victory, Pakistan's first home Test series win since beating South Africa in February 2021. The 2-1 series win appeared improbable after England destroyed the hosts in the first Test in Multan by an innings and 47 runs, leading to the axing of superstars Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi, as well as pacer Naseem Shah.

Pakistan has produced numerous world-class cricket players and made many world records demonstrating their best performance in front of hundreds of spectators in various cricket grounds around the world as batsmen and bowlers.

There is no doubt that the Pakistan team has always remained unpredictable. Nobody can predict which team player will suddenly surface and turn the tables in favour of his team.

Pakistan has to work hard and prove that the Pakistan cricket team is one of the best competitive teams in the world in their coming cricket matches.
