Slip of the tongue

President Joe Biden has given his whole life to help make the United States of America and its people great in the world. Biden deserves respect and honour, not humiliation. At the age of 81, he is physically very weak, but mentally prepared to rule the country for four more years, which has become the talk of the town (“Biden mistakenly refers to Zelensky as Putin before correcting himself,” July13, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, the room at the summit gasped when Biden misidentified Zelensky as Putin. The comments came at an event in the summit during which Biden launched an initiative with allies aimed at supporting Ukraine’s security needs.

At the important NATO summit in Washington, referring to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as Russian President Vladimir Putin is not a slip of the tongue, but it shows how much President Biden needs to break away from hectic politics and enjoy the rest of his life.
