India finally lifted the ICC T20 World Cup Trophy on Saturday after 13 years of wait and hard work. It was indeed an incredible moment for Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and head coach Rahul Dravid. It was a dream come true for Indians. I must appreciate Rohit for his amazing leadership. The way he has managed his batters and bowlers clearly shows that he was spot on throughout this tournament. It was a great final at the end of the day. I feel sad for South Africans because they too played like a champion, but finally Indian team managed to lift the trophy.
I also appreciate Kohli for serving his country with great passion. We should never forget the role of Dravid. His presence made Indian team a solid unit. It was his presence, which helped Indian players to remain cool and composed. Indians were at their best in every department on Saturday. The way Jaspreet Bumrah bowled shows his class. He is at his best. He is unplayable. He reminded me of Waseem Akran and Waqar Yunus. Who can forget Hardik Pandya, Surya Kumar Yadav, Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh. They were the heroes of the match. But ultimately, it was team effort which helped to become numero uno.
