To fine motorists who throw litter out of their cars while driving on the road is totally justifiable. To keep the town and environment clean, it’s a social responsibility of all the residents to play their honest and vital role in it (“Dhs1,000 fine for throwing trash from vehicle in Abu Dhabi,” May 30, Gulf Today website).  

I am sure motorists pay attention to the important report and ensure no waste is thrown from their vehicles while driving on the road to avoid a fine of Dhs1,000 and six black points, according to Article 71 of the Traffic Law.
