Month of care

It’s highly laudable that the ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ campaign, which started from the first day of Ramadan, is serving Iftar to hundreds of people on a daily basis. To participate in charity and helping others are the main lessons of the Holy month of Ramadan (“1,450 Iftar sites in Dubai serve 1.2 million meals daily within ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ campaign,” March13, Gulf Today website).

As part of the ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ campaign, which has been launched under the directives of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Media Council, over 1.2 million meals will be served daily at Iftar sites across Dubai during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The teaching of Holy month of Ramadan is to spread happiness among humanity, helping others in the time of their need, and do charity with open-heart. When the privileged people fast from dawn to dusk they can feel the hunger and needs of less privileged people. The month of fasting teaches us how less privileged people who struggle to find food for their living, live their life with honesty and dignity trusting on one and only God (Allah) Almighty, so it’s time to do charity as much as people can do.
