Smart move

Twitter boss Elon Musk knows the trick to keep himself relevant and making headlines all around the world. Refusing to pay its Google Cloud bills seems to be another stunt from one of the richest persons in the world (“Twitter is refusing to pay its Google Cloud bills: Platformer,” June 11, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, Twitter has refused to pay its Google Cloud bills as its contract comes up for renewal this month, which could result in the social media company’s trust and safety teams being crippled. Before Elon Musk’s takeover of the social media platform last year, Twitter signed a multi-year contract with Google related to fighting spam and protecting accounts, among other things. Elon Musk is a successful business person, I am sure he will not only pay the Google Cloud bills, but also he will negotiate with Google Cloud authorities to benefit Twitter from his smart move.
