Fitness first

DEWA is encouraging its employees to maintain a healthy lifestyle by exercising and finding a balance between work and social life. The organisation is inspiring employees to embrace a healthy lifestyle. This is a wonderful thing. As we all know, a healthy employee is an asset for the organisation. That’s why organisations all across the globe are talking about wellness (“DEWA encourages staff to maintain healthy lifestyle,” Jan.1, 2023, Gulf Today.) To take a step ahead towards its goal, DEWA had organised 12 sports tournaments in 2022, with the participation of 2,437 male and female employees from various divisions. Also DEWA had sponsored and hosted three sports tournaments and participated in several local sports events. Emirates in Dubai is known for inculcating a healthy lifestyle by hosting lots of fitness events. Fitness is the need of the hour. By being fit, an employee can be more productive for the organisation and for the family. In this digital era, we tend to spend lots of time in front of our computers, therefore we need to do some physical activities.
