The initiative taken by the Sharjah Government Communication Award to honour organisations that have taken urgent action to combat climate change is highly appreciable (“Sharjah to honour Arab groups actively fighting climate change,” June 27, Gulf Today website).
Climate change is a burning issue the world is facing nowadays. It’s so important to take measures to combat global warming and save the world from the climate change disaster.
