Time to change

Indian political strategist Prashant Kishor on Monday again discussed the roadmap for 2024 general elections with senior Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi.  This was the second meeting of the Congress leaders with Kishor in three days. Congress top leaders, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Jairam Ramesh, P. Chidambaram, K.C. Venugopal and Randeep Surjewala were present in the meeting. I hope Congress listens to what Kishor has suggested to them. Kishore has successfully helped political parties in the past and is a bankable political strategist in the country. I feel the Congress party should do something serious to rekindle itself, else it will be forced to go into oblivion very soon.

There is some serious issue within the party and that’s why they were unable to win the recent election. They have lost almost every election they contested of late, which shows something is wrong in their basic approach. Hope Congress President Sonia Gandhi does something concrete to fix her team. I am sure Kishor will bring some changes for the party, if given a chance. He has exhibited his performance in the past. Let’s see how their association goes with the passage of time. I feel this is the last chance Congress has to revive itself.
