Great relief

The civilian government of Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf under the leadership of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan came into power with a dream, promise, and the vision to make Pakistan like ‘Riasat-e-Madina.’

Pakistan would be the State like a mother, and guarantee people’s living rights, social justice without any discrimination (“Imran launches ‘Sehat Insaf Card’ in KP province, says every family will get Rs1m health insurance,” Aug.22, Gulf Today website).

The basic need of people in any country is to be covered by medical facilities, free education till grade 10 and peace and stability.

I would like to appreciate the previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that worked tirelessly to make people’s lives better and introduced a health insurance facility, ‘Sehat Insaf Card,’ in the province besides other achievements.

In return to make people’s lives better in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, people gave Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf another chance with the absolute majority in the province to form a government again in 2018. And it was the first time in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that people trusted the same party for the second tenure.

Around 40 per cent of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa population had already been benefiting under this health insurance initiative, which is now being expanded further.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan launched an initiative to provide health coverage to every family in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the “Sehat Insaf Card.”

Under the new initiative, each family in KP would be provided with a health card facilitating them with free medical treatment amounting to Rs1 million at public and private hospitals in the province.

The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province are lucky enough, more than the people of other provinces because now they are covered with medical insurance with a sufficient amount of money, which is their basic need.

I am sure the governments of other provinces will follow the best example of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s “Sehat Insaf Card” and will provide their people the same health facility as well.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has to work hard to fulfil his promises he made during the election campaign. Imran Khan is a hope for the poor people of Pakistan who believe that he has the ability to put Pakistan on the path of stability, peace and prosperity.
