Insurance company sues drunk man for causing traffic accident in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Claims Court obligated a man to pay Dhs29,000 to an insurance company for driving a car under the influence of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and alcohol and causing an accident that resulted in two people being injured and another car being damaged.
According to the official documents, an insurance company filed a lawsuit against a man in which it requested the court to obligate the defendant to pay the plaintiff Dhs29,000 plus deferred interests at 12 per cent from the date of the legal claim until full payment.
The plaintiff also requested the court to obligate the defendant to pay the litigation expenses and attorney’s fees.
