The National Search and Rescue Centre (NSRC) of the National Guard carried out a medical evacuation operation for a Ukrainian crewmember of a commercial ship crossing the country's territorial waters.
The man suffered a health emergency and his critical condition required him to be airlifted by an NSRC aircraft to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi to receive the necessary medical treatment.
