His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday visited the "GITEX Global Expo 2023" exhibition, one of the world's largest specialised technology events, which is taking place in Dubai with the participation of 6,000 technology companies and 180,000 specialists.
Sheikh Mohammed said on “X” platform, "During my visit today to GITEX Global in its largest edition ever among its 43 editions on an area of more than 2.7 million square feet and with the participation of 6,000 technology companies and 180,000 specialists. GITEX today has become a specialised exhibition group for technology, startups, programmers, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and more.”

Sheikh Mohammed continued, “GITEX is like Dubai in its rapid growth. It has grown by 40 per cent comparing to its previous edition. It resembles Dubai in embracing the best minds from 180 countries, and is similar to Dubai in its passion for everything new that contributes to changing our future for the better.”
