VIDEO: Negligent motorists cause horrific multi-vehicle accidents in Abu Dhabi

Negligent motorists caused horrific traffic accidents in the streets of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Police have said.

The Abu Dhabi Police warned of the dangers of not obeying traffic rules while driving in the streets. 

The Abu Dhabi Police, in collaboration with the Control and Follow-up Centre, and within the &ldqu o;Your Comment” initiative, shared a video of 3 traffic accidents that took place at the same time due to failing to focus on road while driving. 

The Traffic and Patrols Directorate calls on drivers to abide by traffic safety rules by focusing on road while driving to avoid collision due to sudden stopping of other vehicles without warning.

The Directorate also warned drivers of the dangers of being distracted by using the phone to browse the Internet and social media, make a call, take pictures, and other behaviors that may lead to serious traffic accidents.

It further stated that the violation of being distracted by doing anything while driving in any way attracts a fine of Dhs800 and 4 traffic points.
