VIDEO: Female security officers organise and assist pilgrims during Umrah for the first time

For the first time in Saudi Arabia, female security patrols participated in organizing the Umrah season during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

In a video clip published by the Saudi General Security on Twitter, the women's security forces appeared receiving pilgrims and organizing visitors and worshipers, in cooperation with the rest of their female colleagues from the sectors of the Saudi Ministry of Interior.

A recruit named Hanan Muhammad spoke of her feeling of pride, given her participation in humanitarian aid and services for the pilgrims. She indicated that she is following the security situation and procedures in organising the pilgrims.

According to the Saudi General Security, the presence of female personnel was a continuation of an integrated security system aimed at the comfort and safety of pilgrims at the Grand Mosque.
