VIDEO: Delay in ambulance arrival forces 6-year-old boy to take sick father to hospital in wooden cart in India

Another incident of administration's apathy towards the needy in India has come to the fore. This time a video of a 6-year-old boy pulling his ailing father on a wooden cart to a hospital is doing rounds on social media.

The video which points finger towards the negligence of authorities to provide ambulances to poor families in remote villages.

The video, which emerged on Saturday, has sparked an outrage among the public in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. 

According to the reports the family waited for an ambulance for more than one hour but after a long delay, the boy decided to take the matter in his own hand.

Video shows the boy dressed in a T-shirt and blue denims pushing the cart while his mother is controlling it from the front.

After the video went viral, the local authorities sprung into action and ordered an  inquiry into the matter.  

This not the first time that such heart-wrenching incident has takne place in India where majority of the population cannot afford the expensive treatments at the hospitals.
