VIDEO: Sharjah Civil Defence put out paint plant fire

The Sharjah civil defence teams brought under control a fire that broke out in a paint plant in Al Hamriya area in Sharjah.

According to an official source, the operations room at the Sharjah Directorate of Civil Defence received a report at 4:15pm on Wednesday that a fire erupted in a paint manufacturing company in Al Hamriya area.

Civil defence vehicles from Al Hamriya, Al Saja’a and Samnan stations as well as national ambulances rushed to the scene of the fire and evacuated the workers available there from the site before dealing with the fire.

The teams continued fighting the fire until they brought it under control at 6:15pm. They then started cooling the site so as to hand it over to the competent authorities to investigate into what caused the fire.
