Angry Saudis catch escaping driver after his car collides with several vehicles

In a horrific incident, a sedan car collided with several vehicles trying to escape the scene of a mishap after his initial crash.
A number of citizens tried to stop a driver after he collided with their cars on a road, believed to be King Abdullah Road, east of Riyadh.

A video clip showed the driver trying to escape by rushing his car forward and then backing up more than once, amid a gathering of citizens who tried to stop him by various means.

A vehicle belonging to the General Traffic Department intervened to control the situation, to stop the driver's movement completely, and the security authorities are expected to issue a statement to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
