Bollywood superstar SRK’s son denied bail in drugs case, to remain in custody until Oct.7

Aryan Khan, the son of movie star Shah Rukh Khan, has been denied bail after his arrest yesterday in the cruise ship drugs bust.
According to the local media reports the 23-year-old will remain in the custody of anti-drugs agency Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) till Thursday, a Mumbai court said on Monday.
Aryan and seven others were detained when NCB agents on Saturday raided a rave party and seized drugs from a luxury cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.
They were formally arrested on Sunday.
A lawyer arguing for the narcotics agency told the court that it had evidence in form of WhatsApp messages that Aryan communicated with drug peddlers on a regular basis.
It did not, however, specify whether any drugs were found in Aryan’s possession when he was first detained.
Khan’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, denied the allegations.
He told the court that the agency did not find any drugs on Aryan and the allegations that he was in contact with drug dealers were untrue.
