Sharjah eases virus curbs, allows more people at social events

Sharjah has updated the precautionary and preventive measures for home gatherings and social events in the Emirate.

Sharjah's Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team has said that the number of attendees at the social events shall not exceed 50 people at home and 100 people in halls.

Moreover, attendees are required to maintain a distance of 4 meters from each others.

Setting up wedding tents with a capacity of no more than 200 people has also been allowed in the latest update, provided that all precautionary measures are applied and social distancing is observed.

All the attendees either should be  fully vaccinated or they have  to present the green pass system of Al Hosn App.

The total duration of any event should not exceed four hours.

People with chronic diseases, the elderly and anyone who has any symptoms of illness are advised not to  attend the events.

All attendees mus wea masks, avoid hand and nose-shaking and hugs in addition to keeping physical distance between individuals.
