The Umm Al Quwain Civil Defence teams supported firefighting teams from Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence and Ajman Civil Defense, have brought a fire that erupted in a scrap ship under control.

According to official sources, the firefighting teams were dispatched to a pier in Al Rafa area in Umm Al Quwain as soon as the operation room was alerted about the fire on Monday morning.
No human casualties were recorded, the sources confirmed.
