VIDEO: Sharjah beaches to provide wheelchairs for elderly and people of determination

Sharjah has announced the provision of special wheelchairs at all beaches in the Emirate to help the people of determination and the elderly.
"In addition to it workers will be deployed to serve the elderly and take care of them," Dr Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for Handicapped.
Earlier, Al Hamriya Beach was approved to be Sharjah’s first suitable beach for the use of the people of determination after providing human cadres who were ready to help them.
The move adds to the successes of the Emirate of Sharjah in facilitating its amenities to serve differently-abled and elderly people.
This comes after the Hamriyah Municipality harnessed its efforts during its plan for 2020/2021 to renovate the facilities of the Hamriyah area, foremost of which is the Hamriyah Beach for the use of people of determination.
