UAE reports 6 deaths, 1,663 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

The UAE Health Ministry said that the authorities detected 1,663 new cases of the coronavirus in the past 24 hours after conducting 283,661 PCR tests.

The test is part of UAE’s campaign curb the spread of coronavirus in the country.

The ministry also revealed that 1,638 previously infected coronavirus patients recovered from the dreadful disease.

But the ministry sadly announced the death of six infected cases due to COVID-related complications.

The authorities said would expand the scope of the tests to detect more cases.

Health experts said the UAE is using-state-of-the-art equipment and technology to treat and cure coronavirus patients in the country.

The authorities also expressed their sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed to Almighty Allah for the speedy recovery of infected patients.  

The ministry said that the experts have administered 65,939 doses of the COVID19 vaccine in the last 24 hours.

It is worth noting that the UAE is only country to have to reach 15,428,281 as a total number of doses and with a rate of 155.99 doses per 100 people as vaccine distribution.
