Reckless man shows off bike stunts to police in Abu Dhabi, arrested

The Abu Dhabi Police arrested a young, reckless man who showed off his 4W drive bike skills in front of a traffic patrol in a video clip shared on social media. Legal measures were taken against the young man, who was referred to the competent authorities, they said, adding that the presence of police patrols in various locations is living testimony to the rule of law for the security and safety of the community and that the law must be obeyed by all.

They called on parents to play their role in educating their children to abide by traffic rules, respect road users and adhere to preventive measures for driving motorcycles, which are very dangerous to road users because they are not easily seen at night.

The police emphasised the need to strengthen efforts aimed at protecting children from the dangers of using motorcycles in order to avoid major traffic accidents that might result in deaths and serious injuries, which often lead to disabilities.

They also emphasised the importance of instilling educational and moral values in the hearts of young people, children and teenagers.
