Sharjah extends distance learning in private schools for another two weeks

The Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Sharjah and the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) have announced the extension of Distance Learning mode for another two weeks in all Sharjah private schools from Sept.13 to Sept.24 as a precautionary measure to control the spread of coronavirus.

Students of private schools in the Emirate of Sharjah of all academic levels received their education during the first and second weeks of the beginning of the academic year 2020-2021, "remotely" based on the previous decision issued by the local emergency team and the SPEA in the Emirate, as they confirmed on their constant follow-up of the situation on the ground, to ensure the safety of students and educational staff.

Earlier SPEA shared a video COVID-19 tests for students aged 12 and above were conducted at multiple locations, as it’s a prerequisite for the students' return to face to face model and blended/hybrid model in Sharjah private schools.
