Indian students in UAE shine in CBSE Grade X examination despite virus outbreak

Students from the CBSE curriculum schools in the UAE have once again achieved outstanding results in the All India Secondary School (Class X) Examination held in March this year.

The highest score among all students was 99.6 per cent, achieved by Aryan Muralidharan from The Millennium School, Dubai.

He said, "This wouldn’t have been possible without my parents’ help and support, especially my mother who went out of the way to help me. I would also like to thank my teachers from the bottom of my heart, as I didn’t go for any tuition and relied completely on their support.”

Ambika Gulati, Principal of The Millennium School, Dubai, said, "We are particularly proud of our topper, Aryan Muralidharan, who has consistently been school topper since primary school.”

Among toppers of other schools run by the GEMS Education are Leha Mahesh Kumar (98.4%) of OOEHS Dubai, Sapna Harilal (98%) of OOIS Dubai, Sneha Nahak (97.8%) of OOEHS Sharjah (Girls), Manthan Dipesh Parmar (97.8%) of OOEHS Sharjah (Boys), Inaata Fatima Khan (97.0%) of Millennium School Sharjah, Timothy Joseph (97.4%) OOEHS Al Ain, Shreehan Santosh Kate (97.2%) of United Indian School Abu Dhabi, Param Jani (96.8%) of New Millennium School-Al Khail Dubai, Harikrishnan Miraj Chathankandath (96%) of Our Own High School-Al Warqa’a Dubai, and Aarjav Patni (93.6%) of Heritage Indian School, Dubai.

Delhi Private School, Dubai, reported 100% results.

Top rank in the school was secured by Nitin Kumar Ramachandran who scored 98.8 %. The second position was bagged by Shaikh Farhan Saif who scored 97.8% aggregate.

"I am extremely happy to have gotten such great marks. Despite having confidence in myself, I was under great pressure this year, especially considering the ongoing pandemic,” said Nitin.

Farhan said, "I could not have imagined getting a better result. With hardwork anything is possible.”

Sharjah Indian School, once again recorded I00% results as all 623 students who had appeared for the board examination came out with flying colours. Vaishnavi Vengayil Madathil topped in the school with 97.8%. She was followed closely by Pavan Saji (97.4%) and Anupama Suja Renjith (97.2%) in second and third positions, respectively.

The Emirates National School, Sharjah, also secured 100% pass profile with 248 students who sat for the examination scoring well. Farsana Mubarak topped the school with 96.8%, followed by Basil Shaiju Velakkattukuzhi with 96.2% and Chris Joju Arikkatt with 96% in second and third positions, respectively.

New Indian Model School, Sharjah, produced excellent result. Aleesha Mariam Sabu stood first with 97.6%. Rikzah Khattal came second with 93%. Jawaher Abubakar stood third with 91.6%, followed by Aliya Safiya (91.4%), Mohammad Amaan Zahid (91.40%), Keerthika Ganesan (90.60%), Sameera Zakir Hussain (90.2%) and Nafisa Ilham (90%).

All 118 students of Gulf Indian High School Dubai scored well. Angeline Elsa Peter topped in the school with 95.8%. Karthika Ramdas (94.4%) came second, Crystal Abhigail Nazerath (94.2%) stood third. Rehan T Babu (91.8%) topped among boys.

Crescent English High School, Dubai students maintained school’s glorious past. Suraj Panayanchira Sunilkumar came first with 96%. Fazil Hashim (94%) stood second, Kashvi Mago (93%) came third.

Indian School, Ras Al Khaimah, achieved 100% result. Dhruv Gireesh stood first with 97.8%. Benjamin Thomas (97.2%) and Mohammed Arman Imtiaz Chowdhury (95.6%) came second and third, respectively.

Students of Habitat School, Al Jurf, Ajman, secured superb result as all 157 students who sat for the examination scored well in the examination. Hanan Subair secured the top position in school with a stellar score of 97.4%, followed by Amit Anil Emmatty at 96%  and Adithi Bijoy at 95.6%.

International Indian School, Ajman, is once again radiating with pride as its students achieved stellar results. Ruba Usman secured the top position in school with 95.8%, followed by Omar Sabith and Hashifa U in second position, each securing 93.4%. Vishnu Mahendrakumar came third with 93.2%.

At Habitat School, Umm Al Quwain, its student Ayisha Rifa made her parents proud by scoring 96.67%. Other top scorers were Zainab Mohib (89.1%) and Lakshmi Priya Pramod (88.6%).
